Uniform

Fremantle Christian College requires students to maintain a high standard of dress and grooming so as to present an appropriate image of the College to the broader community and instil a sense of pride in their school.

Pre-Kindy

Pre-Kindy children are not required to wear the College uniform, however are encouraged to buy the FCC Hat.

Kindy - Year 2

For Kindy students, the formal uniform is optional. Students may wear the rust shirt with sport shorts, and their house shirt with sport shorts on sports days.

Pre-Primary - Year 2

Pre-primary to Year 2 students are required to wear the correct uniform in a neat, clean and well presented manner. A positive attitude to wearing the College uniform is a credit to both the student and the College. Important information about uniform requirements and ordering uniform can be found here:

Students can choose to wear either the cooler or warmer uniform options at any time of the year, providing it is worn appropriately and the student is comfortable (not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter).

For cold weather, students may wear beanies or scarves and knitted gloves or mittens, provided they conform to the following:

They must be dark blue or rust, as per uniform colours – very close matches must be adhered to

They must be of simple design, not including ‘sparkly adornments’ or significantly raised patterning

Primary

All students who attend the College are required to wear the correct uniform in a neat, clean and well presented manner. If students are found to be wearing clothing that is not consistent with the standard, quality, or style of the College uniform, parents will be notified and will be required to make a purchase from the uniform shop to replace relevant articles of uniform.

The following guideline demonstrates acceptable and unacceptable school shoes and trainers for wearing with the College uniform. Note that trainers are only for Primary school uniform and for Secondary Sport uniform, not for normal Secondary uniform:

Secondary School Uniform Secondary students are required to wear the summer uniform in terms 1 and 4 and the winter uniform in terms 2 and 3.

Sport uniform is only to be worn at appropriately designated times, which will be clearly communicated from time to time. If the weather is cold, Secondary students may wear beanies or scarves and knitted gloves or mittens, provided they conform to the following:

They must be dark blue or taupe, as per uniform colours – very close matches must be adhered to.

They must be of simple design, not including ‘sparkly adornments’ or significantly raised patterning. 

If a student is not wearing the correct uniform an infringement will be given. A note will be sent home notifying the parent or guardian of the nature of the infringement and requesting a commitment to address the infringement.
